This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Deseret School of Design ("DSD") holds about you — including any data associated with a social media account (such as Facebook, Instagram, or Threads) you have used to interact with DSD or connect to our platform.
How to request deletion
Send an email to admin@dsd.edu.gh with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including:
- Your full name
- The email address or phone number associated with your record
- If applicable, the social media account (and platform) you connected with
What happens next
We will verify your identity and action confirmed requests within 30 days. Where we are required to retain certain records by law or legitimate business need — for example, financial records tied to an enrolment, or records subject to an active dispute — we will let you know what is retained and why, and delete the remainder.
Enrolled students and staff
If you are an enrolled student, alumnus, or staff member, most of your records are governed by our Financial & Refund Policy and Student Conduct Policy, which set out what is kept and for how long. Contact us using the details above for any request specific to your account.
